International students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at Southern Cross University’s Sydney, Perth and Melbourne campuses but do not meet entry requirements can now enrol in the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP), a new program that serves as a pathway to a graduate degree.
The PQP has been designed to develop international students’ study skills to meet the requirements for entry to a Master’s level. Thus, students with a slightly lower IELTS can still gain access to Southern Cross University’s Master’s programs. Moreover, they get to study with other international students in any of the three campuses and adjust quickly to the Australian higher education environment.
According to Ben McCully, SVP for Southern Cross University Partnerships, those who complete the PQP also pass the academic and English language entry requirements for the Master’s degree programs.
The courses being offered in the three branch campuses under the PQP along with the corresponding schedules include the following:
March, July, November
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Professional Accounting (MPA)
